Intermediate First Aid

A practical, hands-on course designed to help the First Aider understand what they are doing and why, with emphasis being placed upon the saving and sustaining of life. This course is based on practical exercises and group work providing a stimulating and non-threatening mode of learning.
 
Incorporates NZQA unit standards:
6402: Provide Basic Life Support Level 1 Credit 1
6401: Provide Basic First Aid Level 2 Credit 1
6400: Manage First Aid Level 3 Credit 2

Refresher First Aid
OSH compliant for the workplace
 
This is a certified course that has been designed to provide revalidation of a Workplace First Aid certificate. A prerequiste of this course is that the participant must hold a current Workplace First Aid certificate and be able to provide evidence to this effect.
 
Duration 8 hours
Maximum number 20 people

Basic First Aid

This certificated course offers students the opportunity to learn first aid skills and to further develop their existing skills in order that they can take a first responder role and provide basic first aid treatment until more advanced help arrives at the scene.

6401: Provide Basic First Aid Level 2 Credit 1

Basic Life Support (CPR)

This certificated course concentrates on making the skills involved in saving a life simple and understandable. It focuses upon developing the student's confidence in order to perform what is essentially a simple but vital task if someone is to have any chance of survival from sudden cardiac arrest.
